About

I write stories about the often beautiful, often dark, and often volatile relationships between people, places and things. It keeps me sane. It helps me make sense of the world. It gives me a sense of belonging.

I write book reviews on behalf of Narrative Muse, an online organisation that matches you with perfect-for-you books and movies. I’m excited to be on a team that embraces diversity, values great stories by and about women and non-binary people, and fosters talented storytellers without bias.

I’m doing a Bachelor in Communication, majoring in creative writing and public relations. The end is in sight. I’m a content writer – articles, blogs, social media and promotional material. I might be a nerd. I am definitely a lover of learning. I am open to exploring job opportunities.

I have an idea for a novel. I’ll discuss this with you at a later date. It’s not the first time I’ve written a novel but hopefully it’s a hell of a lot better.

I have just gotten into writing screenplays. They’re fun and challenging. They remind me to show not tell. I’ll be writing more soon.

I read a lot. The classics, horror, drama, dystopian, cyberpunk, dark comedy. There’s nothing more comforting than curling up with a good book, a cup of Earl Grey tea and a packet of Smith’s Salt & Vinegar chips.

I am a music junkie. It’s in my blood stream. It beats conversation. I create playlists for specific moods and occasions. I’ve been told they’re pretty good. Check them out by clicking on the Spotify icon at the top of the page. I could be persuaded to create one for you.

I love coffee. Good coffee that is. I’m probably a coffee snob.

Horror movies. They’re exhilarating when they’re good. I watched The Evil Dead when I was ten. I have a very understanding mother. My favourites are The Shining, The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby. I often quote lines out of horror movies. I find it fun, my wife thinks it’s creepy.

My family are my world – amazing wife, two crazy but wonderful little people, Ziggy the dog, Mr Pickles the cat, and Charles Wallace the puppy.
